HISTORIC DISPATCH FROM CANADA LODGE UD - KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, AFGHANISTAN

Permission has been received to publish this story it to the Algoma District Website.

E-mail from GEM, HISTORIC DISPATCH FROM CANADA LODGE UD - KAF AFGHANISTAN

I was present at Concord Lodge No. 722 when Bro. Colin Goheen was installed as W.M. on Dec. 1st. Colin's brother who was identified in this article as one of the candidates to receive his MM degree, was present at the meeting in Cambridge to witness his brother's installation. Colin's father, V.W. Bro. Ralph Goheen assisted by V.W. Bro. David Walden, organized the Installation.

E-Mail from R.W. Bro. Iain D. Wates, Chairman, Fraternal Correspondence

 Brethren,

This is a historic dispatch from Canada Lodge UD, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The lodge now has dispensation to Raise candidates and has done so with two brothers. One actual has been Initiated, Passed and Raised in Canada Lodge UD. This is excellent reading and comes courtesy of the Toronto East District newsletter; Hiram’s Lighthouse.

 Please share with your brethren.

 Enjoy,

 Iain
