Old Tymers Night

At the annual Old Tymer's Night, Shuniah Lodge honoured Wor. Bros. Neil Lundberg and Gerry Lundberg

Wor. Bros. Neil and Gerry Lundberg

Wor. Bro. Neil Lundberg was born in Fort William, Ont. in 1939. Educated Francis Street Public School & FWVS. Nei! worked 43 years in the Automotive Industry Truck Driver to Parts Manager then Sales Representative to Sales Manager. Retired then re-entered the work force as Building Maintenance Supervisor. He has been married to Janet for 20 years and have combined 2 daughters Deborah and Jennifer & 2 stepdaughters Brenda and Beverly, 5 grand-daughters, 2 great-grand granddaughters , 2 grandsons and 1 great grandson. He is a long-time member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and has volunteered with Christmas Cheer for 14 years. Neil has had a distinguished career and remains an integral part of both Craft Lodge and Scottish Rite, from being initiated in 1981 to Master of Shuniah Lodge # 287 in 1987, to Thrice Puissant Grand Master in 2006/2007 and being honoured with his 33 in 2015. He is currently the Commander in Chief of North Star consistory in the valley of Thunder Bay.

 

Wor. Bro. Gerald Lundberg was born in Fort William Ont. in 1944. He was educated in various Fort William schools, attended Bemidji State College, Lakehead Teachers College and completed a B.A. degree at Lakehead University. He has been married to Barbara for 42 years and they have three children Jeff, Scott, Tracey Ball, 4 grand daughters and 1 great granddaughter. Gerry worked as a teacher in Geraldton and Thunder Bay for 29 years and also taught in Arizona for 2 years after retirement. Gerry was initiated into Masonry in October 1979 and rose to be installed as Master of Shuniah Lodge #287 in 1985. Leisure time is spent in wood carving, stained glass work, church choir and guitar. He spends most of his winters as a snowbird basking in the warmth of the sun in Mesa Arizona. He had the distinct honour of being the installing master for his older brother Neil.
