Superior Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 672 G.R.C.

Meet the Master

Wor. Master Martin W. Bunch

Brethren it is an honour to be the newly installed Worshipful Master of Superior Lodge No. 672.  I will give you a brief history of my life so far.

I born in Sudbury, Ontario. We moved to Thunder Bay (Fort William) when I was 2.  I attended local schools and worked retail before starting work for Great Lakes Paper (Resolute Forest Products).  I worked for the mill for 35 years and most of that time as a Process Data Analyst in the Technical Services Dept.  In 2011 my wife and I retired to Red Rock and I also affiliated with Superior Lodge that fall.  I have been married to Deborah (Debbie) for 38 years and have one son.  As of this moment we have no grandchildren.

In 2009 I was the Worshipful Master of my mother lodge Connaught No. 511 in Thunder Bay.  This was a very busy year but I enjoyed it immensely.

It was a great turn out for our installation meeting in May.  And it was great to see the brethren from the different lodges in the district.  I have to thank W. Bro Leif Anderson and Bro. Peter Anderson for the fine meal; Installing Master, Rt. Wor. Bro. Robbie Manz for leading the installation ceremony and all brethren who participated.

This coming year let us work together to keep Superior Lodge strong, vibrant and a growing lodge.  I know there is a lot of work to be done on our building this summer and much planning will be required.  I also wish that all the brethren would come out and enjoy the brotherhood and letís see if we can bring out brothers who havenít been to lodge in a while and reacquaint them with our fellowship.

Fraternally,

W. Bro. Martin W. Bunch

Worshipful Master
